Failing compaies file chapter 11 if they can't make it then they die. The country is already in a recession. What fields of work should 6 hundred thousand GM workers and supplies be trained in?Yes the company was mismanaged form the top down for a very long time If GM is willing to pay UAW $30 hour they would be dunb not to take it.
PLUS…. the … PLUS…. the biggest mess our country has faced is the housing problem, which was started by the Community Reinvestment Act, enacted by congress in 1977. You can't give mortgages to people who can't pay for them!!!!!!!!
Obama is buying … Obama is buying votes. Yes, Bush didn't want the GM problem on his watch, however Obama should have let it die. Take money and retrain the workers, rather than this ongoing waste of money. There wasn't ANY COMPANY that wanted to buy GM because it is a loser. So who will buy it??? The Government. GM's problem wasn't Obama or Bush, it was the UAW and mismanagement. What happens to a company when it is mismanaged??? IT DIES!!!!!
Obama is trying to … Obama is trying to clean up Bush's mess. Bush rolled back improvments on gass milage that Clinton put in place. Bush started the bailout right before he left office. Leaving Obama with another big mess to clean up. Bush still hasn't answered for F-ing up both wars.

We do not wish to do this, but instead of loaning $ with these conditions we are screwing the investors, redistributing ownership so that we comrads can all own it, under the Government control of course. As obviously this is for the benefit for all Americans
