JAL – Japan Airlines Corp.’s files for bankruptcy protection
15,000 more people will have their lives turned upside down as legacy carriers are struggling to survive a global slide in air travel.
Cost of travel will go up, perhaps airline travel will become the domain of the rich and privileged. Security costs, higher fuel costs, carbon tax and airport improvement fees will be reflected on the price we pay for our airline tickets.
The whole thing sucks.
We do not need all the extra security measures, we are all forced to pay because of the actions of a few. Think about how many passengers flew from the time of the shoe bomber to the underwear bomber. One incident, unsuccessful with one perp and now we all pay.
Airports that are more like theaters and museums rather than functional places we can go and board a flight, we pay the price.
An a final insult might come when carriers and airports are bailed out, but now air travel is to costly for ordinary people so we all pay for the elite and wealthy to continue flying. Wall Street part two, up…up.. and away.

Japan airlines … Japan airlines needs to sell at least 5 of there 747-400 and purchase 3 Airbus a320's there smaller aircraft more fuel efficient and less costly to operate why do we see budget airlines like jetblue doing so well because they use a320s and don't have to worry about wasting 60-80 thousand dollars on filling giant 747s if japan air can sell those 747s to bigger carriers that can afford them they will be ok and can do very well again and service there customers better with the a320 and a319.

    Listen to Lyndon …
Listen to Lyndon Larouche, he said bush and obama has destroyed this country by printing to much money, keeping the interest rate at 0, Cheaper to get a loan and keeping the credit default swap legally, so tax payers can bail them out over and over. This is slavery in America. Illegal aliens are above the law and they live first class, while the rest of Americans are living in the streets and are on food stamps. This sucks big time because are freedom is gone too. Wake America

We are all in this …
We are all in this mess, today after I made this video, I saw on CNN that 135 American Airlines pilots were loosing their jobs. More people hurting. Now how do you feel about the Wall Street bailout and the continued bonuses, by some accounts 150 billion, being paid out.

  • JOHNINCOLUMBUS:

    I grew up in …
I grew up in Youngstown Ohio, the steel mills were it’s livelihood, the closed up in the 197o’s, 10,000 jobs gone over night, no one cared. I feel bad for JAL employees, but their going out of business won’t destory a whole town the way the closing of the steel mills did…not any easy thing for anyone to go through.
